A site where you can post your off-the-track Thoroughbreds for sale to an audience specifically looking for Thoroughbreds, with ad prices you can afford. Facebook has banned the sale of livestock making it difficult to move retired racehorses. Other sites, like Equine Gateway, EquineNow, and Starquine are expensive to list ads on and only offer limited time windows. They also lack basic marketplace security by not having any sort of screening process in place for buyers and sellers.

Like our sister site, TheThoroughbredStore.com, The OTTB Store will require buyers and sellers to undergo a basic screening process before a buyer is allowed to connect to a seller. As kill buyers and animal rights activists are ramping up their efforts to infiltrate our industry, so too should the Thoroughbred community increase our vigilance with some basic due diligence. 

Like TheThoroughbredStore, The OTTB Store will allow you to post unlimited pictures, link to a walking video, upload a catalog page / pedigree, as well as give full description and metadata information about your horse.

We hope to have this site fully functional by the end of February 2020.
